Hi Mehret - Spending time offline has helped my insomnia (I am kicking the habit of scrolling my phone before bed). I haven't been meaningfully offline for very long, but deactivating my Facebook was a start. Already, I felt as if I had had a brain cleanse. I also deactivated a popular IG account I had in favour of a quiet one with few followers. It eliminated the compunction to check my phone and dramatically reduced scrolling time. I could still do better, it is a work in progress weaning myself off screens, but feels great so far. I do love Substack, both participating in and creating my own content. Being active, rather than passive online, that is, only going online when I have truly put a lot of effort into something makes a huge difference. Your posts are a big help! Thank you! All the tips are amazing. And belated happy birthday! xx
It's a journey! Please keep going, one of like top two accomplishments with getting offline is how amazingly it has improved my sleep and overall well-being not scrolling in bed/before sleep. Thank you! <3

Happy belated birthday! It's funny, how a very "online" thing, like your posts, make me want to make more time for time spent offline. :)
Life is funny that way, and thank you!!!
