On Fridays, we drink gin and chat

Hi there,

Two-word horror story: It snowed.

Five things to share:

  1. It’s not that I hate winter, it’s just that I hate four hours of daylight and deadly icy sidewalks, and of course, the cold. It sickens me. But as the prayer goes,

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
courage to change the things I can,
and wisdom to know the difference
    .

  2. Music that reminds me of summer— road trips, beach days, doing hoodrat stuff with my friends— seems to sustain me the best during winter. What reminds you of summer? Stay warm in spirit. ♡

  3. A quote I want to share with you:

I do not believe that things will turn out well, but the idea that they might is of decisive importance.

    — Max Horkheimer

    Hopefully hopeful.

  4. “There’s no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothes.”

  5. A question for you: How are you wintering offline this year?

(If you live in year-round warm weather, how does it feel to know heaven?)

That’s all for this week!

Thank you for reading, and share with anyone you think may benefit.
