Hi there,
I was just complaining about winter. That felt like forever ago.
Five things to share:
Yesterday, the sun was still out at 5:06pm. My weather app showed me earlier that the sun will be setting by 5:34pm, so I knew, but noticing the sun still out, feeling the last bits of its warmth on my skin as I locked my door and walked into the street filled me with hope. I was leaving for the gym, just like I have been doing most Mondays all winter long. By December, as the days got shorter and the overhead lights replaced the sun naturally illuminating the workout studio, I knew what was coming.
If you’ve ever felt like you are the only one.
A quote I want to share with you:
Listen to your life. See it for the fathomless mystery it is. In the boredom and pain of it, no less than in the excitement and gladness: touch, taste, smell your way to the holy and hidden heart of it, because in the last analysis all moments are key moments, and life itself is grace.

I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it
Without Spotify/Apple Music recommendation, plus the limitations of Hoopla and its only 8 albums a month for one-week loan period, I pick new artist/music/genre randomly, or because the title is captivating, and listen to it for a week until I love it (buy it) or hate it (forget it). This journey has taught me you can do whatever you want. Let life show up and surprise you.
A question for you: What are your plans for an unplugged summer this year?
I cannot wait! (For you, and me)
That’s it for this week!
