I'm not sure if it'll be your speed or not, but I just finished watching a Korean show called The Cursed last night. It ended up presenting some pretty interesting ideas about social media, although you never would have guessed that going into the show.
Oh yeah! Bong Joon-ho is great. He's made a bunch of great movies over the years... Memories of Murder, Barking Dogs Don't Bite, the Host, Okja, Mother... Actually, his partner-in-crime, re: music, Jung Jae-il, is a wonderful composer whose best stuff is outside of the films, I think.

To be honest, I'm not either...but Korean TV/cinema has intrigued me as of late.
100% I really enjoy international cinema... when I do watch TV. Parasite is my favourite Korean/ film, have you seen it?
