By a rough estimation based solely on my own lived experience and precise feminine intuition, you can solve about 72 to 82 per cent of your current life problems by going offline. Just Walk Away From The Screen. Close Your Eyes. No social media, no waking up to the news, no scrolling to sleep. Life is truly amazing unplugged. This might be the best kept secret of our times; You really don’t need any of the digital noise- None!– to live a perfectly balanced, enjoyable, exciting life. In: Unplugged & Unmedicated

When I first saw this quote, I knew and loved it immediately. I wrote it often in my journals; in the margins of my weekly calendar spreads; in my many, many lists of Note to Self about life. But it’d take me many, many more years to finally understand the truth of the matter, If you surrendered to the air, you could ride it. And that’s the thing about life, it doesn’t take a genius— everybody knows— but only you can go on the journey, do the work, the unbearable uncovering of the truth that’s been bugging you this whole time, until one day you finally understand, If you surrendered to the air, you could ride it.
