Hi there,
French press is the superior coffee brewing method.
Five things worth sharing this week:
I let my coffee brew for four minutes. I used to fill that time with scrolling. What can you really do in four minutes? Scroll. Kill time. It's only four minutes anyway. But you can't scroll when your phone is a dumb smartphone. Out of desperation, I learn a valuable lesson. Four minutes is a long time when you’re not scrolling.
We spend a lot of time scrolling that it can feel like we are scrolling on autopilot. Why We Can't Stop Scrolling is a super short video explaining the reason behind why we scroll— and scroll, and scroll, and scroll.
A quote I want to share with you:
Almost anybody can learn to think or believe or know, but not a single human being can be taught to feel. Why? Because whenever you think or you believe or you know, you’re a lot of other people. The moment you feel, you’re nobody but yourself.
— e.e. cummings
Less knowing, more feeling.
100 Ways To Live Better is one of my favourite lists of all time; especially #6, #10, #14, #15, #17, #19, #30… you get the point.
A question for you: What can you do in four minutes? Set a timer, ignore your devices and find out.
