I used to see this guy. Back in the days. One day I decided I was going to try and live without a phone, and he asked how we were going to stay in contact without a phone. With my natural knack for quick wit, I replied “email me so I know it’s real.” To my delight he did email me and we used that as our only mode of communication until I decided to get a phone again.
I love email.
I was going to send you email to delete but I figured I will ask. Think of it as a small token of your appreciation, a small fee, if you get anything out of this itty bitty corner of the internet; anything, ever, at all: Tell me how do you get through a rough day, week, month, year, or even a lifetime? A tip, a trick, an activity, a song, a ritual, et cetera. All advice welcome.
Here’s a quote I love: “Some years ask questions, some years answer.” This year has been asking too much of me already.
I can use a lil cyber hug too, if that’s all you got. (っ^_^)っ
Maybe next time?

Sitting next to a tree, looking up a tree trunk at the sky, walking slowly 🐌 in woods or other non-human spaces and listening. Knitting. Wool and needles have gotten me through incredibly difficult life events. Following that thread keeps me tethered to myself and calm.
Pen-to-paper journaling. The sound of birds flying by my window, singing happily because it's about to rain. My cats staring at me while I type something with the ever-loud mechanical keyboard. A YouTube video where someone's sharing their passion about something and teaching me how to love new things... And many more.
